Allow players to track other players thru the spider via a buddy system. even if you are buddys <3 a option should be allowed in player profile to disable people finding them, this would be toggle-able setting. I'm also sure linking people like via a buddy system would have other possibilities and make the community more efficient.

Pro's -

It has being used in many other community sites and works well.

make the community more efficient

Makes the e+ website more up to date for a social site s well as a gamers site

Con's -

more work for devs Winking

the same problems as the others sites which use this have. however this would be as simple as possible system obviously not as complicated as such sites like facebook or twitter.

yea i suppose but for lazy people some just want in all one place but i suppose it does make this idea kinda redundant. unless anyone else has any ideas on weather this would be more useful here on the site plz say. but if not admins/mods please delete this topic as xfire completly describes what i put up there. if only i remember b4 hand ^^ Happy

i dont know but this:
"tracking players thru spider" .. not possible if the e+ version is returning dots instead of letters.. also even that might be not enough since ppl can fake a nickname .. so maybe guid i dunno ..
but till that i hate the dots bug which is not yet resolved ... ( LINK )

Please stop complaining about skull. He has done nothing wrong in this topic so that makes you off topic.

I'm guessing xfire don't work or don't work completely properly on Linux. well i guess a minority off people may want this but for the amount of work for it to be made possible it may not be worth it. better to at least fix the issues stopping this from happening first then think about how this can be done atm. as im sure once that can be done other ideas will be thought of. gl devs maybe one for long time in the future but unnecessary to do now.

This used to be possible through the spider. It had a search function where u could enter a players name, and it would search then show which servers with date & time they were there. I really miss this function! Maybe easy+ can bring it back. I know it's not quite the same as the suggestion, but it's better than nothing Winking
