What about adding command for brighter crosshair? Like xp_crosshairbright.

Mouse: Logitech mx518
Mousepad: Zowie P-TF SpawN Edition
Headphones: Sennheiser HD202

I can't really imagine what you mean, do u have an example from another game? I mean, brighter than white is not possible. Or do you mean gamma? Since brightness is given by ur monitor.

i would prefer it to be able to change to alpha value so you can make you cross hair more transparent even when its bigger i guess full solid and white would be max brightness. \@@/

F1 for this idea,im used to yellow bigger crosshair,but it would be even cooler if i could have it a bit transparent Happy

U can use not only 1-7 digits, use letters for colors.
I'm using cg_crosshaircolor "h" for brigther one. Try another letters for best color brigth.

Example? Quake Live? There is much more brighter corsshair, no matter what graphic u will set. So let it be like xp_crosshairgamma Happy

How i have in my config : 

seta r_intensity "2"
seta r_gamma "1.2"
seta r_vertexLight "1" //(ofc)
seta r_overBrightBits "0" //(no extra over bright)
seta r_mapOverBrightBits "0" //(no extra over map bright)
For me it looks brighter. Maybe this is what you're looking for?

you can change scrosshair colour like in nickname so whats the problem to set brighter crosshair ;>
