I attempt to have fun. More often than not my fun is interrupted on public servers by idiots who spec or disconnect when they're losing, or in team games have no idea they're shooting you (a team mate), or don't know how to thaw, or like to run in a straight line holding down fire on BFG, and teamshooters on dm17 are great too.

Another favorite is the guy who crouches in a spot in 1v1 moving in little circles and as soon as he hears you he spams the doorway or hides in such a way that he'll see you before you can see him. Then as soon as you die he moves to another spot and crouches doing the same thing. Anti-camp kicks in and he moves a few hundred units away, then goes right back. Yeah. I love public games. That's why I went clanless, you know, because public games are where it's at, and so are players who can't play unless they're standing nearly still. :roll:

Other than that I have fun. I've found lately the AIM+ servers aren't so full of noobs/annoying chuj types, and when they do join they don't stick around long! So I've been playing on AIM+ servers lots. PB being on all the time helps too (gj Camel).

When I go back to clan activity I will once again be a rare sight on public servers. Catch me while you can.

actually im bored of public... if i play i love it if i crush many enemys with high rail accuracy..., but cuz im bored im playing osp (ye there im random @ scores, but still good at rail) and have lots of fun with sv_nofloodprotect, goot rockets (airrocket ftw) double rails etc.
also the osp players are more funny then e+ players too

Actually always is at least one player which flying all the time in the air and shotting all the time when he is in air to. Moving and shotting with scripts or "piano" player. He always shotting and moving flying, shotting... That is ridiculous... When no enemy around he also moving in space between spawn spots and all the time shotting at spawn spots...
That's make me angry... So, I CAN'T wait when will new 1.04 release will be released :!:

I usually have fun. Like, else I wouldn't play it. I don't care who I play against, it's always equally hard regardless of how skilled your opponent is as long as you adjust your own goals and shit. Like, just barely managing to beat really skilled players is fun. Trying to get own little fragging records against bad players is also fun. Playing with one hand against completely useless players is alright and yesterday I made my first attempt at doing that except with the keyboard (...and shooting of course, but never moved the mouse). THAT was hard. 10-11, then I chickened out and aimed for the last two frags.

Only two things ruin public play for me:

1. Chatting demanding a reply. I don't care if the others chat like bitches, really, it's fun when they go mental Capture the TIFS-style (THIS IS NOT HUMAN! BAN! ALMOST 500???? AIMBOT. and the classic "callvote kick id HE AIMS TOO GOOD WITH THE RAIL, RUINS THE GAME"). Does well for the ego. However when they demand a reply, such as FASTER's "stop it" (50 times or so) and I had no idea what to stop as I wasn't even camping or anything then, and then he starts /tell'ing with shit like "You know I can ban you, right?". I mean, getting banned sucks. Because there's no reason. Not cheating, not camping (when they ask or when it's not rediculous like I am playing almost alone with my two negative scoring friends against a team of like 7 of which 3-4 nonstop BFG jump and lg-slide), not grenade spamming and not talking shit (in fact not saying a word). If there is a disclaimer; "Only <50% Rail Accuracies Allowed" I guess I missed it, but if there isn't then I'm not doing anything wrong and not even intentionally provoking anyone except beating people who can't handle that they themselves suck who I frankly feel no pity for.

2. Shit teams. I'm honest here - one thing that gets my blood boiling (because of my competitive nature I guess) is losing to people to are not as good. Therefore, losing a CTF game where theoretically none of the opponents were good enough to produce anything but still get the occasional flag purely because I am either a) busy falling down the void thanks to team"mates" or the enemies are of such quantity that my friggin' weapon reload time cannot handle shooting them all off even if nearly every shot that does go off is a hit. This wouldn't be such a problem if some one else in the team in public could get a frag every once in a while but it has become clear that if the enemy gets the flag and I do not kill him, he caps it with 95% certainty. And that is HIGHLY annoying. Then the few times they win the fuckers go "HAHAHA WE WON! WE ARE THE BEST", like... Uh. I try to absorb everything I can and turn it into ego boosts from their cheat accusations/votekicking/thinking all against me is fair teams, but losing to people that suck... RARRH.

So yeah. I mostly try to play my best and serious and not chat, because THAT IS FUN TO ME. It's painfully obvious that that is not fun to a lot of others in public, but OMG WE CAN ENJOY DIFFERENT STUFF!?
