I got the G500 for about 1 year now.
Before that i used a G5 for 3 years till it broke.

Im realy no expert in the technical stuff about it, but what i can say is that
i dont have any problems with it so far. No traction losses or so...

- im using /sensitivity 1.5 ingame what takes about 26cm for a 360.

Ill try that benchmark abit later that day and post you the results

I have g500 but it's cable was damaged on the part that goes into mouse after less than 5 months of use, just took it to service today. And it has bad quality scroll which (recently) gets moving on grenade jumps and you can feel this tiny vibration from it on nade jump, so it can distract your aiming. Other than that it's a great mouse, great traction, great sensor.

wow ultra, guess why i only have mouse1 and mouse2 bound.

btw, mouse cable getting broken is standard issue on any mouse depending on sens.

For the Xai, Drukqs had a Xai and said its crap, instead I thought it was the best mouse of the moment.

Instead of this I'll no more buy laser mices because no mousepad is good enough to support the too sharp sensor, the laser drops sometimes when you move your mouse too fast and the laser detect all imperfections or stripes on your mousepad, even if you just bought it, and jumps over. I'll wait for an optical mouse which has 2000 DPI and 1ms fully supported.

dammit, i was planning to buy a xai...i just sold my abyssus and deathadder 3500 dpi coz i got pissed as hell from their shapes...im still keep goin with the g9, the only one till know who made me cry lot much coz of it's shape...im pretty sure a xai or similar shape mouse would be very good for my hand/gaming posture. im undecided to buy an microsoft ie 3.0 or a xai but i think that the ie is way too old for have a good sensor/acc/response/tracking etc so i think a more recent mouse would have a better sensor, and the xai is never but with same shape, so it would be perfect. Confused fala!! say ur sentence plz Tongue

guys, get ur informations right.
@ tanaka: there never will be an optical with more then 1800 dpi.

@ Diablo: the 3.0 only lacks in sidebuttons, dpi and max speed, however last is question of sens.

i see, well atm im using 400 or 450 dpi with my g9 so this won't be a problem with 3.0, i play with 1920x1080 115-120 fov sens 1 m_Yaw/pitch 0.06-08-1 cl_mouseaccel 0-0,01 dunno bout cm/360...u think 400 dpi can be good with that?

its calculateable if the dpi are enough for that.
