Re: Aim Training?

At first look it seems ok and helpful, but as long as you keep training this way you will later realize that it is better to add some key movements, because most of the time when your are in movement your aim thinking is different. Just an example from q3, there is this map proaim, which is rly cool to shoot but shouldn't be the main training to your aim. In my opinion it is also important to train in the game you are playing, for example, if I play bf4 and want to have a good accuracy I wont go and train in q3, because of physics and other little details. Of course all of us have some benefit playing other fps games because of q3, but still a cs player in cs knows surely more about aiming in cs than in q3 even though he is some crazy aimer.

I just would like to recommend for anyone that want to spend their free time on practicing shooting, that dm17 is the best training arena that you can find, with bots or humans and not camping the whole time in the middle. After trying alot of things, like proaim map, any 2d software for aim and reaction practice and other games, i find it easier to get your hands, your eye and ears get used to shoot faster and accurate while playing dm17.
But apart from that, i also want to say that not even spending 10000 hours playing dm17 and training your aim, will replace the experience and skill that can be gained in a real gameplay.
So the best thing to do, for me to improve , is to find balance between practicing and learning from your games.

I know that most of you already know this stuff and that what I said is nothing new, just wanted to mention it in this topic.

40 maps x 3 minutes , that's 2 hours , what you think of making it 1 or 2 minutes round ?

well I think 2. 80 mins would be more than enough. 1 min is nothing, 2 mins so so.

PS: interesting povs and infos about mouse sens, I also agree in the need of movement while aiming. Counclusion is, the best warmup can be made in q3, but would be great to have plusN-AI bots Winking
