basically you are right in many points and i agree, but i think the newest release sucks. im an e5 guy and started in 2005 with e+ and i prefer ctf. the newest release is crap, since many moves aren't possible anymore and most hiding places are out of reach. guess its cos of the hitbox, which was changed.
well thats the only thing tho, that i (and some of the other remaining e5 players) dislike.
the other reason i think the old times were better, is about the community. i've seen many friends leaving this mod and the fun left with them as well. no clans, no cws, no trainingsessions anymore.
only a few friends are left and i see them on the only, still active e5-ctf-server: borg team ctf.
anyway, e5 is dead and so e+ is to me.

Do you know man that in most cases ppl say e+ version is bad while it's the conf they don't like ?
Maybe excessive5 of 2.1 isn't the same as the one of 1.3

its not the config, its something in the new release, that has been changed. cos the server is running the same config, that worked pretty good in release before.

if this is about my server being 1.03... its not about comparing anything. it's just something i still enjoy to play, and others do too.
it's similar to that favorite old shirt (or whatever it may be) - sure u have new shirts that might be very nice, but that damn old 1 is so comfortable u have to keep it 
just because 2.0-2.1 is here, doesn't mean we all have to throw away 1.03 & older does it? I remember there was a 1.02b server for years visible in spider after 1.03 was released and no one complained about it.

I am not sure what you mean madbringer .
I talk about whine and complains on servers.It is fuck this and that . I can't change whats wrong.There is a thread where they can post complains .Now I often leave server because I join server in a good mood and leave quick with bad mood and don't want to play.

Whiners gonna whine, nothing will change that. While many of those whines are superficial and little more than excuses for sucking, there are certainly a lot of problems with e+ that needed to be addressed 4 years ago. I were you i'd start getting worried the second you stop hearing incessant whining, because that's going to be the moment people finally stop caring about this mod (i.e there are always going to be problems with e+, 95% of which are placebo and result from the nature of it's chaotic gameplay).

No I don't talk about your server mistress . If you want to play 1.03 on your server is up to you ,I realy don't care.I was talking about all complains about update. To listen at all complains makes me not wanna play anymore. The nagging about bugs and all other shit is worse then all bugs.
