Most people have been supportive of him, the whiners have most if not all contributed tons of bug reports that got fixed. But that is irrelavant, if something is flawed people will complain - seeing the amount of complaints on servers/forums after a year of 2.0/1.04 is telling.

You keep using this argument but on closer scrutiny it doesn't hold any water. Beer top 10 is virtually the same as during 1.03 times, give or take a few inactive names. Current position 1 & 2 are the biggest whiners around, go figure. Whiners have always been whiners and find excuses, I've never seen myself as one. In the end it's about the level of fun, I want the game to be as good as possible. Some bugs have been around for 6-7 months now, the whine is hardly as frequent/agressive as you seem to think. Maybe you should actively play the game instead of dropping by once every half year to grace us with your pearls of wisdom. We have "earned" our right to complain.

mircwar, I think what joey actually wanted to point out in his post was
that people aren't grateful for beast's hard job and time.
Ofcourse there are bugs, there is still some stuff that we will complain about,
but we all forget to say "thanks beast". Same like community forgets to say
thx zont for temprank and for keeping it update, even when u never been anounced as rank mod. :E

I think he made his position clear, it's a with us or against us attitude. Easy said something similar, calling it propaganda. Instead of lumping all the "whiners" into one big anti E+ group they should pay attention to why there is complaints. The irony of it is that I personally told Beast to not "mind the haters" during beta6.

I voted 1.03 because for me personally, call it placebo effect or whatever, the feeling between the two mods IS definitely different.. Thats the reason i loved edawn the first time i tried it, it kept the feeling of 1.03 with added features and thats pretty much all ive ever wanted. I didnt give a shit who designed what, as long as the gameplay was enjoyable... Now keep in mind that ive played edawn for only about a dozen games cause basically it was dead almost all the time. So im in no way a "fanboi" of any mod screaming "go play that or this" im just conveying my feelings as a player.
That being said, i believe we're never gonna go back to 1.03 so for me i see no point of "whining" anymore. So basically for me, a 1.04 or 2.0 however u call it, is playable and as long there are ppl playing it ill play it too, when i have time and or desire to play.
Lastly i want to say big thanks to Beast and hope he doesnt take any of this personally. Because as i believe i said somewhere before, what beast got to work on, the early betas, were messed up before he touched them. And since then, he has done a humongous amount of work and made a ton of improvements and bug-fixes. So to Joey and Mow, i dont think anyone in their right mind is calling beast out or wants his head on the platter..
DISCLAIMER: Now all of this is my personal opinion not representing any mod or side, so pls dont start an epic falmewar, edawn vs E+, and who stole what from whom.. I merely used edawn as an example to signify what a perfect mod would be for me: the feeling of 1.03 with major bugs fixed and maybe some extra features. thats all.

I knew people would reduce my post to this one sentence. I was talking about the propaganda that has been going on for a while, not your report or related reports.
Like said in the other post, we do take reports serious. Personaly I have already put many work hours to track this down and I'm sure Beast also did but you should know that you generally can't fix something if you can't reproduce it.
If it would be a situation like do this and that and you have it reproduced, it would have been fixed just in minutes. Unfortunately it's not that easy.
