2.0a e+
36% (14 votes)
2.0a e+ (because of added options 1.03 lacked)
26% (10 votes)

these two, can counted as one.. so base win is 2.0

The majority of people think they think, when really they just change their prejudices. Understanding is a matter of will in most cases.

I am not sure ,but it have never been the old plus cfg in any server since 1.03 . If I understand it right , old plus don't work in 2.0.

Aren't you the oneliner machine par excellence. Win in this case is what, exactly? The fact that around 35% of voters feel differently would be classified as a huge "loss" by me. Sure 1.03 was flawed (a whooping total of 2 bugs annoyed me) but physics/sens/projectiles were all fine - more that can be said about the latest releases. 99% of the people playing wouldn't feel a difference playing in sirup with a a ball mouse. It doesn't invalidate any of the criticisms.

Just can say i don't have problems like some people in here, whith all this railtrhoughs etc, also movement is fine for me. The railtrhoughs i also had in 1.03, 1.02b, also in quakelive, cpma and "edawn".

In all the named versions and and mods i have/had railthroughs, and i also did hit when the crosshair was not above the model.

I also noticed, that some bfgs moves dont work anymore the same as in previos versions, but this is more a config thing. Moves still work, but slightly different.

Oh, and i wont install crap like 1.03 ever again. I just remember how many complained about 1.03 when it came out, it was much more complainment than about the current version.

1.02b > 2.0a > 1.03

Actually i wish a 1.02b with features of 2.0a and i want completly forget 1.03. But actually i am also satisfied with 2.0a.

it sums up just about everything
i do not notice nor experience what a bunch of other people are noticing and experiencing; however, I do notice people keep on modulating from 'bad experience' to 'bad experience' the more and more other people complain about it, the more and more they 'lack in skill' and miss a shot.

1.03 deserves to be put away to rest, it was nice while it lasted but 2.0a simply takes it, thanks to beast.

1.02b (actually the current version, but it was most fun
in 1.02b).

(never 1.03, it was imo the most buggy version,
yet)

Re: Which do u prefer?

u know, all the people ever wanted is a bugfree and fixed version.

so was back in 1.02b whcih was a great ver until people used the rail reload bug (some lamers used scripts, i did it manually)

all people wanted was a fixed version.

the only reason 1.03 was played because the bugfix for hte rail bug was more important then they new bugs like 1on1 rotation.

the fix for the 1on1 rotation is kinda neat in 2.0, but im it doesnt weight up all the weird feelings netcode gives meanwhile.

why such stuff was fixed anyways? there was no need because people were fine with it in past.

Re: Which do u prefer?

PS: Keep complaining in the forums and in-game to beast (while he's trying to relax after a long day) telling him how much it sucks and i bet you he will quit and NEVER fix these imaginary bugs you guys have. What will we have then? a dead mod.

He fixed the bugs you guys wanted fixed, MAYBE (and i doubt it, because i dont experience them) new bugs were introduced however, THAT is normal. It takes time to find the root of the bug and fix it. For every 10 bugs he has fixed there may be 1 that was introduced, give him some breathing room and time to fix them. Bitching and saying you want things how they were BEFORE he even came into the picture is the WORST slap in the face you could give, whenever he's given more good to this mod the past year than anyone has in the past 3 or 4 years. He is so helpful he even goes out of his way to HELP you prove him and his code wrong by adding extra features.

If you want the right to bitch at beast so aggressively and frequently then pay him for his service, $5-10 seems sufficient to me. Until then, fuck off and be appreciative.

And for my closing quote that seems to resound from everyone who wants 1.03 back: "Wah wah imissed a shot! It must be the mods fault! It couldn't possibly be me because i am so pro!!!"
