Hello guys, I need some technical help on this one Happy . I bought this subwoofers:

So I need to know which amp do u guys recommend. I searched this one on ebay:

P.S: Btw the amp have to be cheap, I already spent to much money on the subs and in the box Big grin

Dude, If I were you, which I am in this situation. I have 2 12" Kicker CompVR's and I run a Crossfire 1200. And remember, kickers have dual voice coils, so to bridge the subs, you need to 1 wire between 1 pos and 1 neg, and run the other pos and neg to the amp. So I would forget that amp. Go Crossfire. That system will blow your brains out!! I drive a 96 Blazer, and I have had to replace rear hatch window twice already with that system. And also to prevent shortage of power to blow your brains out, I suggest buying a 1 frey minimum compacitor. Stereo's R my specialties. Big grin Winking Winking Winking

personally I have 2 x 12" Solo Baric

The most important thing is to get an amplifier (or 2) that is powerful enough to power the subs. E.g You dont want a 1000w sub with a 100w amp. I'd go for a kenwood or alpine amp personally (even some pioneer) Make sure you use good quality cabes (important) the thicker the better.
Also, you might want to think about sound deadening (brown bread or dynamat) which will reduce the vibrating panels and give you a much more thick and solid bassline.

msn me if you want more indepth help. I have quite a lot of experience with in car audio and fittings.

I got a design of the box on the net, a nice design, also some dude recommended it me for those subs. With one hole in the middle for the air to come out. The thickness is 3/4", kicker recommends 3/4" at least, so I told 1 guy to build my box with 3/4".

I'd appreacite if u guys can help me choose one good amp for those subs. Some suggestions would be nice, below $150 should work for me. Also what number of cables should I use, #12? #14?. Btw some dude told me to buy Class D amplifiers, he said those are tight Big grin , what u think? ...peace...

FFS use 4 Gage for your power wire from battery to amp. As for Class D amps, that is a Mono Amp. It is just a 1 channel amp that works better than bridging a 2 or 4 channel amp. Also pay close attention to the ohms. Make sure that both amp and sub ohms are both same stable. For example: Lets say you have 2 ohm subs and 4 ohm amp, not good idea, will ruin the amp rather easily. 2 ohm is obviously better than 4. Lower the ohms the better.

And as for price vs. performance, I would rather pay more money for high quality amp vs. spending little money and getting so so quality. I've been through my fair share of systems, and it seemed every time I bought cheap amps,subs,etc- that it went to shit right away. But I can't make your choice, just here to help. Happy

And for that box, good choice, ported boxes are the way to go. Non-ported boxes have a tendancy to ruin certain subs, so I always go ported. Winking If you got any other questions let me know. Happy

Happy thx for advices bro. Well I just need a suggestions for the amp. I would like a good amp, well i have no choice, I have to pay for it xD!. Just let me know which amps can I choose from and where to buy them ofc...peace...
