And thats n1 Simpson. E+ have many clans, players, events etc. etc. but nobody know about this... We r so closed community... We must write about this on Quake pages, forums etc.... ppl from quake community which know about this mod r thinking we r spam mod without any sense.... But i thik thay r talking about e5/6/7/8..... and rest shit cfg's (nothing to e5 players thats only my point of view) without insta rail. Now we have great Plus cfg's and some insta cfg's. So i think many ppl from insta mods (now many mods r death) can back to q3 and start plaing e+ or change less active mods without any events etc. for e+ ... Not all quake players want play vq3, cpma, osp, or Quake Live...

i think a good way to introducing is ...

events with nice prizes and sponsoring from many people or some factorys ( gforce, ati for examble )
but what can we give them ? @the moment nothing... then we can catch many new people to want play on a old mod..

Like Simp said, we gotta get this mod introduced on bigger sites and focus on what modern e+ is all about i.e. Plus. As for target audience, I think our best bet are players from other insta mods. Attracting players from baseq3 mods is much tougher since I presume that most of them think this mod is all "lazery" and lower skilled. Therefore we gotta emphasise the "fun" factor such as doing ridiculous bfg jumps etc - CTF may be a good promoter...

To the sorrow, UrT alike welcome concept is not suitable for e+ at all, because we can not say 'download, install, play'. We can not offer the whole game to download so we have to catch people who have already got the original quake3. E+ needs some another advertising way...

yes i agree, it depends on what you see on the page, or how do it is taken 

installation is another thing, first newcomer on the site must really know where he's and to what he's seeing, and what he will expect;

and only then he will need some explanation how to install e+, ofc its not simple way so it must be firs and big letters wrote how to do that..

its more complicated then there even this info do not exist,

and we cant depend only on a possibility that they will look around or will read manual then they even do no know where they are Big grin (hah i see some vise guy added info at download section that e+ is suited for q3, thanks him for that)

you say another way ? i even cant give this e+.net link to newcomers.. (they come back asking all the way how how..) so how do i can spread info about mod on different portals ?
