What keys do you normaly use for movement ?

move:
forward - E
backward - D
left - S
right - F
shift - crouch/down
space - jump
weapons:
a - machinegun
q - gauntlet
w - shotgun
r - rocketlauncher
g - plasmagun
mouse2 - rail
mwheelup - granade
mwheeldown - bfg
mouse3 - hook
mouse1 - attack
two mouse side buttons - lightgun

inverted, too Happy

numpad are my weapons, ctrl = walk, shift = crouch, mouse2 = jump

OMG Spidey, u got really difficult movement binds Tongue

btw i use pretty standard WASD movement + surrounding keys for weapons jump on space, mouse1 shooting and mouse2 zoom (sometimes i use it coz of high sens for loooong distances)

imho moving or switch with mouse make ur hand tired faster so decrease accuracy... i used jump on mouse2 in my Quake2 times, coz there doing doublejump with mouse was way easier then on cheapcrap keyboard even not ps/2 Tongue

IMO i have the most original one.

i use the num pad!

MOVEMENT
Forward: (NUM) 8
Back: (NUM) 5
Strafe Left: (NUM) 4
Strafe Right: (NUM) 6
Crouch: (NUM) +
Jump: Right Click (mouse)
Shoot: Left Click (mouse)
Zoom: Mouse 4 (never used)

WEAPONS
Rocket: (NUM) 0
Rail: (NUM) Del
BFG: (NUM) Enter
Nades: (NUM) 3
Electric: (NUM) 9
Plasma: (NUM) 7
Machine Gun: Page Up (not on num pad / button below "Pause Break")
Shot Gun: Page Down (not on num pad / button below "Pause Break")

i use my thumb for switching rocket rail bfg and nades...pinky for MG & SG... then pointer (finger) thats on 6 (strafe right) to switch to elec (9)...then ring finger on 4 (strafe left) to switch to plasma (7).

Mine is quite complicated and original IMO. Happy
