What is Your favorite type of Q3 game ?
CTF is the most fun, just try playing it for some time and you will understand . It's the teamgame, speed and the railing skillz you need the most to win, nevertheless if you don't have a good team you can still make some difference on your own. On the second place in my list is comming TDM, only I can't find any good server now for it 
, there used to be some really good CTF and TDM servers, called RINGZERO and BRO CTF server was very good too. Now there is only one good CTF server in bro.cfg it's 2Sweet CTF. The TDM servers are not visited by anyone . 1v1 is a good gametype too though. Freeze sucks a big time on big maps 
, cos you don't get unfrozen there, it's just hard for others to find you.

nah but really the real bfg-spamming is on tdm and ffa servers. on freeze you can think a bit more, try to outsmart the enemy, which is not possible in either tdm or ffa. and mind you counter-strike takes a lot of skill, and i try to play it too (CS:Source rules 
)

you are wrong on your judgment of 1v1. rena. you should spec very good players of 1v1. like trance , Hard .swe , HQ , to catch the very heart of it.
it is smart gameplay ,based on speed, accuracy , underdstanding of enemy gameplay and habits of movemennts etc..
it is the gametype wich has the less of Lucky parameters in it :
In FFA , you sometimes loose a match cause you spawned not near of where the action takes place.and you loose time searching for them ,whereas the lucky good player closes the match , cause he spawned in the right spot.
in TDM , you depend on other teammates skills...in freeze and CTF also.
in 1V1 your effort of learning the game , gives you immediate reward, cause you are alone on the arena .
it is like you compare Golf (1v1) to Football
it is very very smart gametype , and the king of all.

What is Your favorite type of Q3 game ?
First comes 1vs1 but with my current connection I can't really enjoy it online.
Then comes Freeze. It's a highly tactical gametype. You can't compare it to TDM! TDM is mindless action. If you die you don't care, you spawn right away. If you miss you don't care you will get another shot or if you die you'll spawn right away. If you see a guy in the other corner of the arena you don't care, you'll find meat closer to you. In freeze every single shot matters! The only way to get better in movement and aim (exept for 1vs1). If you see someone two rooms away you'll go after him or guess where he is going and get a shortcut. In tdm you say "wtf man, i'll find a noob in the next corner". Plus Freeze offers the unique joy to take the whole enemy team on your own when all your team is out (of course this happens on your way to thaw your mates 
).
Finally, in Freeze you can spec better players for a few secs and see different styles and of course chat while you are frozen ).

FFA

90% of my online game is freeze but when i go for FFA or TDM there are only a couple of good players among 10 or more .

id say spawncamping is a bad word when it comes to freezetag.. i think real spawncamping is rare since once all enemies have spawned you have to be placed so they cant hit you when they spawn, and yet preferably, in a position so you can hit them.. but knowing when its time for them to spawn its not easy to know.. sure you have a hunch when its only one enemy left and you look at the scoreboard. But most ppl is going down hunting this person instead of thinking "hey its only one enemy left, maybe i should be standing and spawncamp somewhere".
plus its very often you get killed by spawners too, but ppl doesnt mention that for some reason. how come ?
and this spawnpart is only like maybe 20% of the game.. the remaining 80% is pure tactics (though certain spawnmoves are tactics too).. knowing which ways to take, which persons to prior thaw, which areas to avoid etc..
and for you who didnt know.. i voted for freeze
the most obvious spawncamping is in 1vs1 no doubt. this doesnt mean im saying that 1vs1 is not skillfull, becasue it sure as hell is..
