u just got it on a special server?
i would try reinstalling quake realse 1.32b and 1.32c

yeah. actual e+ servers using protocol 68. Your client is propably old and worx with older protocol 67. But dont cry Big grin Solution is download and install point release 1.32. After that will be everything allright. But i can recommend you to download q3.exe in version 1.32c. Its officialy released patch which is packed into .zip and contains instead of many documentation quake.exe file (nothing to install, you have to patch game manually by overwriting of a file). If you will have problems with something write there again Winking

judging by the amount of posts here it looks like the guy/girl has played plaenty of e+ so 95% chance its the server that he/she is tryig to connect to is an older protocol..i would say its not an e+ server and maybe something from an older version, unless you just did a fresh install of q3 then the above apllies Happy

it is infact a serevr with protocol 84

Lol nevermind, stupid me was connecting to wrong IP. Sorry for useless question, perhaps I should make sure I am connecting to right IP. This topic can be put in the trash. But thanx for the help anywayz peeps.
