Hey!
Look, i need a little help here.
I'm playing quake 3 in a widescreen TFT.
I'm plyaing with my native resolution but... in wide mod, the weapon, almost disapears.
It's possible to get the weapon a little bit more to the front?
I'm not speaking in FOV, but weapon position.

Well... i think it's hard to use... but i have seen some screens and it's possible...
I think that commends cg_gunx y and z are usefull, but if you try to make that in console... it's not possible because is cheat protected Worried

well try this alternative maybe that will help u:

-Open the config.cfg file in the base/excessiveplus directory with texteditor.
-Find the string 'seta r_customwidth' and set it to the native width of your monitor. For instance, on a Dell 2005FPW this will be '1680'

-Find the string 'seta r_customheight' and set it to the native height of your monitor. On a Dell 2005FPW, this is '1050'

-Find the string 'seta r_mode' and set it to to '-1'.

now u have to play a little with the fov Tongue

Well... if you look to the image properties, that picture i put on the post, you will see that.. i'm playing in widescreen mode ( 1360x768 )
And.. because of that... 'im asking if it's possible to change gun position... because playing in widescreen mod, gun almost disapears...
My fov is @ 130 in that picture Happy
The problem is the gun position... i know it's possible, but how?

alright seriously you guys are a bunch of asshole, relax...the only way to do it is fuck up your FOV even though he said he doesn't want to fuck with it...btw it's a custom weapon so that might be why the hell it's doing that.
