ventrillo, ppl dont hear lagged voice, nice offer about codecs, very good transfer, but i rly dont like sound of ppl, without bass, it is smth like public radio, cant get on this program Sigh

hmm the server we got in warcraft got 44khz, and there is alot more bass then it is on a ts2. Even with 11khz it is more. I only had bad experience with ts2 but not one bad with ventrilo.

basically , even on TS2 ,the highest quality settings can cause voice lags, so i doubt that ventrilo can be better unless all users have monster bandwidth , i have used it before,and honestly i dont find it more accurate than TS2 , and again it depends ( like in q3 ) on location of each and everyone of us connecting to a given voice server ,whether it is vent or TS2.

I think the difference is in sound filters both programs use. Honestly, from my own experience, sound thru Vent is much more clearer and "juicy", as opposed to TS's dry and radio-like one.

If you have problem with max slot 8, just download some older verstion (for example 2.1.2), it's very good too, i use this one, and there are no limits for max slot on private server.
