Eh, i liked the second season of Twin Peaks the same as the first one. It had few "bad" episodes, losing pace, but it was all to built the story. In the end of second season they told him that he should finish it so he made this weird, aggressive and maybe rushed finale. Anyway, great series too.

About Carnivale, i agree it could finish here. You know, the cycle etc. Yes, the main story could finish here BUT there are subplots unfinished and many questions to be answered. For instance, the Professors's promise to return in flesh. I read some place about the story that would follow. It went like that, Jones started baseball again (was shot in the solder), Ben replaced management, Lodz is like a mummy(?) and they call Jones back to continue the crusade. There were more info but i can't remember them. Knauf showed the story chart to the fans in a carni thing but he couldn't share it cause it doesn't "belong" to him anymore :pukeright: (so the info isn't very trustworthy). Anyway, i agree that it's risky to start a third season now. The bs of the whole thing is that hbo started a while back a series called "Priest" or "Preacher", don't remember, with a similar plot *puke again*

I'll buy the books when they are released, just like i did with The Fountain (which is completely different than the movie btw, but it took many months for the delivery ;( )
