trouble viewing demos

im having some trouble viewing demos i download. i made a demos folder in my excessiveplus folder and put my demos in there. but when i go into quake to see them, theyre not there. how can i fix this?

rename them into .dm_68 if they arent already in that file.
and download seismovision it rocks

ok ive done all that. now when i try to add a demo to view, the only file type i can pick is .dpl and the demo is in .rar. how do i get it working. (sry im bein a pain about this. :oops: 
)

umm how do u mean demo is in .rar? if it was a compressed winrar file u should unzip it first using a decompression program, and then try to view the demo.

ok ive downloaded siesmovision , but asd for the .dm_68, do i have to convert it or something? or do i just put that at the end of the name?
