I had them all, and I was flipping used-crashed (fixed) cars like pancakes...turned the most $ with that "Moby Dick" every time...only he wasnt available all the time..u had to wait for him to show up (just like in the book)

Test driver stuff was great too...some last tasks cost me hours and 2-3 years of my life (from lost nervs) hehe j/k...but it was all worth it

btw. Love ALMOST every one of NFS editions (except 2-3 bad fuckups)...

What you do is, you buy a lot of used 320, 340 and 360 series in the 1960's, keep them and sell them in the 90's (of course, you just buy any used car, repair it, and sell it with like 200% profit... thats how i got originally rich... i also had 3 Porhse 500 Spyders (won 1, and sold 2 towards the end of the game cos they were worth like a million by then.

By the end you got so rich, you bought the whole "used" catalogue, repair each car an put it on the market

I also remember some of the amazing accidental car-flips and the mission where you had to drive a Boxster thru industrial city without scratching it

oh, and does anyone remember the 1998 Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit? My best computer game moment came from that game :
I was doing the 1v1 pursuit from the cops thing on the toughest track (the last one, snowy mountain thing(,

i had 2 tickets so 1 more and i would have lost the map
opponent had none.

I was driving a class A supercar.

5 (!) police cars boxme in and virtually stop me... but i keep the gas down and even tho theres no speed, theres no arresting yet... im accelerating with a car in front of me braking, and the only thing which keeps me unarrested is the fact we just entered a steep downhill tunnel, and are going at a steady 12 mph down the road (you need 10 to be stopped )

The car is scraping the wall, 5 po-po are pushing me, but the car dont give up and i get to the end of a tunnel, where there is a hill o the side of the road, and i drive on it to get away from the car pushing me in front to slow down... 2 jeeps next to me dont do it right and fall off the hill, i drive off thru all the narrow mountian roads (!), get away from the cops (!!), drive the next (huge) 1.5 laps perfectly (!!!! hardest track), while the other car gets arrested throughout (!!!!! haha merked)
