Damn - i will be working....
why not use the map that oldvamp designed and made especialy for frag fest and quake tower..... the well.

ok i ll do a first "pre"- fragfest , with old vamp map...on friday 8 gmt. i ll start server with it.1000 fraglimit ..and we ll see how many pple connected.

the well is great , huge and totally adapted to fragfests.the only problem is 5.5 megas of map and not a so well known map....that is why running the server 5 days before time is good, to give chance to players to download the map and test it from server.

looks like there is no way to avoid server crash at 1000 frags. /com_hunkmegs 1000.

there is one way , admin takes screen shot at 1000 frags..and rotate map (tested with rotate and map_restart, doenst make server crash.)

It will be cool to make Fragfest on the afternoon of Europe example ( GMT 14 or GMT 16) because that way it will be morning here and we all gonna be able to play...but just an advice otherwise it will be difficult to american players to go there and play...peace...

ok here is the deal :

Next sunday , 18 GMT , german server.
plus-dm.cfg modified to have respawn protection on.

60 slots.

1000 frags.(but fraglimit 0 , to avoid server crash)

Timelimit 0

warmup time : 15 minutes.

server will be up at 18.00 gmt , fragging will start at 18.15 gmt.

map thewell.pk3 ( see link for download above , and test server above )

punkbuster off, pure off.

ps: fraglimit will be 1000 but server will not limit its end. only admin will take screenshot and demo and declare winner.

gl & hf and prepare ur railguns.
