when i start up quake, my crosshair cursor lags and moves at about .0001fps (main menu)..

when i join a server my fps is around 1 - 5fps.

it can BARELY spectate let alone play. it also shows that my ping is 250ms+ in the pingometer but not stats board.

i have no running programs, or internet usage when i play quake.

i reinstalled q3, along with my graphics drivers. (several times)

im using win7 32bit and my gfx card is a GTX 260.

im actually reformating as im typing Tongue please if anybody has any suggestions plz post.
