Servers crashing...

I've been playing here for a few days now and I've noticed on several servers, it crashes after the map ends. Why is this?

it never happened to me. Maybe it's something on your end thats screwing up

Hmm, well it's happened to myself and several other people. Usually on forgein servers. It only happenes at the end of the game and when you exit out and try to go back in via ASE, it says 9999 for the server ping.

i really think it was ctf4 Laughing and it was over the normal time

it can be 2 things

you dont have the latest mod, or the server isnt updated to the new mod.

or its when your pc taking a screen shot, it takes a while with me first time i start playing quake in the day, also takes a while first time a map ends on a server, after that it speeds up.

does this help??
do you know what mod you have?? is it 1.02a?

It could be during the ss phase of the map changeover.

I dl'ed the E+ file that's on your "files" page. The first one I believe...

i see this prob much times on edy&easy's server when the timelimit is over and both teams have same capps, and now which team did last cap the server crash 100percent. Dunno if it the OS (freebsd)

happens to me on occasion, not very often though. NWC server is offline from 5am EST to 6am EST though.
