server spider - qconnect

hio,

somethings wrong here ... when i click the server ip in spieder .. quake console opnes ... how it should be ... but than nothing happens ... quake doesnt start.

first i thought it because i installed new firewall ... but qconnect was working fine after i installed ... 2 days later this problem starts.

btw qconnect its in trusted area in isecurity.

some helping words for me?

opened qconnect as administrator, then click on the IP of the server where you
want to play. Try this

thx,

but im allways as admin on my cpu.and qconnect allways works ... since 3 days i doesnt work anymore.

only thing that is changed is my new inetsecurity. but i dont really think that thats the point cause after i installed it qconnect runs good for 2 days

well i am not sure HOW to help you, but I can remember having the same problem!

As far as i remember, it had soemthing to do with quake itself....   Confused

i think i changed the cfg in e+. or the baseq3 i am not really sure....

try something like that Confused

x2 , I just reinstalled quake and e+, everything I could basically, cause uninstalling one thing didn't help. it takes no longer than 30 mins, worth a try.
