Tyr is there negative accel in quake? Sounds weird that the mouse doesnt work well on 1000hz,especially on modern system like yours. Maybe their "changing polling rate via drivers" principle isnt implemented properly?

U can try this mouserate switcher if u feel like it,it overclocks ONLY the mouserate port and from what i found,i had an old version from 2005 and newest version drastically improved tracking here...avg Hz is now 920 and is much,much more constant and stable,and doesnt variate so much.

nah actually i just tested it with a few apps that i had and all my 3rd party rate changers were less effective than the one built into the drivers...when i tested it on 1000hz i think it was still using the steelpad 5L so tracking on the textured surface could have been causin it...just had another go at 1000hz and worked smooth as anything

i dont think theres any negative accel, probably too much positive for me atm but im still playin around with it

Iam using this mouse for like 2 weeks almost now and i can tell this about it

There is no negative accel , i have been testing this mouse on icemat and taito , @ all dpi , it tracks beautiful currently i use it @ 3200dpi sens 64 m_pitch 0.00020 m_yaw 0.00020 altrough its not recommand to put on TCU (Tracking Control Unit) in Quake , Because then you will get a sort of wierd tracking

Get a Sennheiser 650HD perfect for everything , its expensive but its the best Headset you will ever experience P.S use it with a Quality Soundcard no X-FI CRAP ! get a Asus Xonar ! its worth the money and its much better then even the X-FI Elite Pro wich i recently sold

while reading this marketing sb on roccat site i got, like i suppose right impression is same cup of tea like razer. pro aim sensor wtf its same sensor used in logitech razer, (i bet same like in g9) just controller chip had better or worst firmware which has influence on feeling of mouse (same thing was with different version of g5's firmware). My type is still mx 518 3rd revision based on 1800 dpi sensor which has the best performance.

- beyerdynamics dt 990 (i want see compare of normal (250ohms) and pro version (600ohms))
