Can I run a q1 server and play Quake 1 or Quake 3 with it on? Anyway I have 1 up and running. the IP is 24.61.114.65, type /connect 24.61.114.65
Can some1 put these files on this post, Q1 1.08 Patch for windows and GLquake or something.

Nihil, how do u run a server. can I run it and play Q1 or Q3 with only 128megs of RAM? (q1 uses 8megs) And do u know how 2 make a rotation?

I setup a q1 server. ip is 24.61.114.65 u need Quake World i think ill put the files i downloaded up on this post.

I know this thread is long dead, but if anyone is still interested in playing quake 1 on the internet, here's a link from which you can download a complete internet-ready bundle (Included are full Q1, Fuh-Quake client, pre-defined configs, FrogBot and lots of various bonuses and tools.) You still can find servers with people playing on the net (amazing, after 10 years ppl still play it ). Anyway, happy fragging
