I managed to get quake1 to work on new computers.. u only need to download winquake.
So i was wondering about if someone wants to play quake1 sometimes, and if someone maybe try to set up a server, would be very cool.

i think q4 will suck cuz it have the doom3 engine and so
q4 is so slowly! but maybe i am wrong

so play q2/q3 Big grin

In a video i saw, one of the makers were commenting about the game, and he told that, the quake4 singleplayer would be more like doom.
But the multiplayer they would make it like quake3 gamestyle.

leave that to edy and easy, they will make excessive mod for q4 so it will be fast as we want Big grin

I can play!! Q1 is much better than q3 Tongue Anyway - try dowloading quakeworld - there is bunch of servers and a lot of players playing q1 via net. Quakeworld is just ... hmm in general its a patch that makes playing in net easier. Newest version is 3.20 or 2.30 (cant really remember Winking )

Is it possible to have opengl support or direct3d in quake 1, incase how do i fix that.. the best resoultion i can get is software rendering 1280 *1024
