ye i got same impression but don't forget that as i said, it has mod support so most likely gonna come out tonts of mods to make it same as q3/ql, that means we gonna have all the advantages of new-gen games with oldschool characteristics, with mods im pretty sure it can be a 2017 version of q3, im confident in this.

anyone who has not plaid it , plz don't judge before you try it. To me I felt a connection the first game, I rarely use powerups because their not so useful in ffa/tdm as you need to really find a good chance to do so. Without powerups I started getting first place in ffa/tdm like after first few games , the physics and weapon shots feel very much like here. Only thing I cant see to get yet is the enemy sound geolocation .
So far is great so hopefully they will bring some anticheat system and the game wont end up like doom .
