Nevertheless, i can't hear the "I have fps drops on this map" anymore. The majority has to abondon really great maps just because the minority has still fucking weak pcs.

There are quite a few differences on the physics like the air stepping. Also e.g. on q3dm7 (forgot the QL equivalent) you can climb up this "wall" with a simple jump (no rocket/plasma jump) while it's not possible on baseq3.

QL has ramp jumps included but they are disabled by default. Might change some day or maybe it's available on some servers. I don't know their policy here for server owners.

maybe it's just the map which has been remade in ql?

ye, there're ramp jumps and they are turned off by default. but we already have a flag no-ramp-jumps in e+, so it's not a prob.

btw, thanx mow for advertising cfg. maybe this will bring more ppl to e+? anyway, it's worth it.

Whoa Easy, well done.

Also, the QL physics are a bit different than baseq3. I'm not sure what exactly was changed, but jump height and strafejump speed is definitely higher.

people dont play because

1. map pack is not very well compiled, some maps interact with it in a bad way (more than just xm_tricks2)

2. large pack to play 1 or 2 maps and you would be suprised how many cant be bothered to download or have slow download speeds.

3. I suppose people who play ql, can go play on ql..

4. its not what people are used to playing, i mean an example, coming from rail only to having to think about armour, weapon pick ups etc, can put people off.

5. Players love e+ cfg's better Winking

Or mainly ppl are looking for somebody on servers, instead of wait there for others.
