Q3 on Win7 x64?!

Hey
It seems people are running Q3 on this OS but when i try to install i just get an error message stating that Q3 is not compatible... And so it wont install! How the f*ck have you solved this and what should i do?!

how about unlike installing q3, simply copy paste it to the harddisk?

the q3 installer dont work since win vista... just copy the cd to hdd and install the 1.32 patch

well, i installed it from my 1.11 cd just normally on vista and on win7

i dont have my 1.11 cd anymore 
but the 1.30 orginal one dont work

i have "portable" version on my second disc partition and i can run it on any win version without any installing

Any Q3 Version is portable, beazt, nothing special. Copy paste Q3 from hdd to usb stick and it runs.
Really nothing special.

You could also try running the installer in compatibility mode.

my q3 installer works with default settings on Vista Home Premium (no RC1)

..I copied the whole catalogue from my old PC and pasted on the new. It works and i can run the game. But now the game is totally dark and i can barely see anything and the brightness settings dont help at all?! Something about gamma?
