Is it possible to prohibit spectating me? Big grin

muhaha - the reason is - i always start to su*king when some1 starts to spec me, every time i watchin demos of my CWs or 1v1 matches i cant hit shit when i was recorded.

example - played yesterday 1v1 match on dm17 vs strong enemy and was leading like 16-8 but suddenly i started to suck hard and we tied very soon, match finished like 45-38 (i lost), but when i watched demo- i started to suck right in the moment of ref starts to record me, btw i didnt know exactly time and who he specing at the moment.

and 1 day pretty long ago i was trying to spec some1 on server but i couldnt switch to his POV, i was clicking but quake just passed him in and switched to next player, could spec him only after entering cmd and his ID (dunno maybe that was a bug)

P.S. i dont gonna cheat or somth like that

ahahaha doc. thats pretty funny. anyways dunno seems like maybe u should pretend that noones specing you? cos u cant tell the difference anyway right? besides its just a game. who cares.

ps: to answer ur question. no it is not possible to prevent someone from spectating you. unless ur gonna do something idiotic like lock teams in a team game and what not. ive heard that this prevents specing ur team in e+, tho it doesnt in other mods and imo it shouldnt.

Yeah, I got that problem several times, seems to be a bug or a good hacking software Big grin...peace...

freeze + enemy specing you + team speak = evil.

and you can always invite spectators to your team spectators (one player can be team spectator in both teams) Happy

k but then again it would be better if we had 2 separate commands, lock and lockspec.

besides. u can always insist on no specs allowed period for clan games and whoever wants to watch can watch through gtv or something.

yes. try to play CS if everyone can spectate everyone and using integrated TS. And similar shit is in e+. teamspec lock is good solution for better freeze wars Idea

@Topic, aside from locking teams, there shouldnt be any option for the users to disable the ability to spect them. How would you catch wallhackers and sneaky botters then :E
