how its posible in servers i have ping 500-800 and packetloss 50-80, but all internet speed test shows with europe servers upload 600 kbps download 300 mbps, with usa upload 300 kbps download 200 kbps, and with lithuania servers upload 1000 kbps download 600 kbps
my pc work fast
AMD K9 Athlon X2 4200+
MSI K9N Neo-F nForce550
DDR2 512Mb PC4200 533MHz PQI x2
Sapphire Radeon X1600XT 256MB DDRIII 128
i use cl_maxpaceket 100, snaps 40, rate 25000
can i do somethink? maybe i should change something in q3 or call to my isp?
ps: i think its internet problems, cos in lithuania servers my ping 20-30 and packetloss 0-5

I had the same problem, when I was with a friend then my ping was about 200+. I don't know why, it was just on Germeny servers Confused But on all the other servers it was good ping Thinking

its more likely caused by bad routes to certain servers.

try route print on some of the servers causing you trouble, and see if there are any wierd hops.

also pb does cause slight lag, but it lasts 2 minutes max. so if this problem lasts longer than 2 minutes, its not pb related.

your ISP might have changed some routing, you can always call them and ask if such changes were made.

and also perhaps they started to limit your connectivity.

and lastly, perhaps your Internet connection is being overrun by new users Winking

your download and upload speed have not so much connection with ping:)..it is all in ping deley and how close are you to those servers..you can have 100mbit download and 100 mbit upload and still you will have ping 500:D
