Ping 999 - Time Out

Every 10-15 minutes of playing my ping shoots up to 999 and I time out.
What is this problem and can it be fixed? Im using a router which is wired not wireless.

Something stealing your upstream bandwidth? Try decreasing maxpackets and rate.

restart router etc, clear longs, etc maybe test cooling it?^^

I had the same ages ago when I didn't even play E+. I found the reason: My Telewell (router) was overheating because of a short circuit. Had to buy a new one.

ur right , It must be a internal circuit problem because it heats up far to soon even after i attached a fan to it

First of all ... u installed any new Firmware ? if not try to do that, if u did, maybe trying downgrade ?
Check ur settings, some Routers are silly and when there is an electrical storm for show they're doin what they want, check if its still in use as router and not as modem or shit like that 
u tryed plugging powercable off and just letting the router stay like that without cable for one night ? ... or some hours, if not try that, helped alot ppl (even me) having probs like that.
If that doesnt help try to reset the whole router to teh delivery status, if u dont know how that works pls tell what for a router u got exactly.
Hope one of the opinions could help ya out m8.

I reset the router like you said and left it unplugged for a few hours while i got drunk and it seems like its working . thx m8
