PC freezes on PB-Server

hello m8s, a clanm8 of me have a problem on pb-servers, after a short time playing, his pc freezes completly, nothin happen anymore.

What can that be, and how can it get fixed?

it happens just on servers with Punkbuster @ trouble

do you have nivida main board , amd 64 cpu and ati gfx by any chance?

if so remove the GART driver
and disable fast writes
also i had to remove win xp sp2

also you could try using Omega Drivers
http://www.omegadrivers.net/

i had lots of fun with this problem Confused

wierd bycose i had an nForce3 mobo and a64 and sp2 and i do no have the problem about what u typing wax

what gfx card do you have HQ ?

its the combination that is the problem i think

nvida + amd 64 + ati

edit: hmm mayby i need to add to the original post

its a AMD XP 2600+
Sapphire 9800pro
MainBoard: Epox 8K5A

its only on games with PB = q3 & et
and no xp sp2 there

ok for sure try turning of GART driver and disable fast writes

do a clean install of the driver...

i turned it off , but it its not the prob
