P.S. I count they will release some kind of 'gold pack' with all parts of quake. It would be great to have something like that.

Oh, that would rock, I'd have to buy it too even though I have bought the games (and tons of Q2 mission packs) when they came out. Big grin

at kraster who is proud to use warez (obviosly). (Do not tell to me that you are not proud please. Your post negotiates completely clear, that you are proud.)

Ur key works just here in Excessive Plus, where serveradmins are tollerant with guidrelax 7. With ur key u will have big problem in other mods, where guidrelax 0-1 is normal.

And btw, it is just a good feeling to have something legal, what means not, that really every Software i have is legal, but what i really use i really buy some day.

But thats a other topic, not suiting here, anyway, just was pissed off, how proud someone can be for using warez.

@mow : Didnt said that the one who buys is stupid ... just wanted to say other way, cheaper, is to dl it . And im far away from being proud, seriously, to use a q3 copy and maybe ill buy it one day, but for now i gotta buy other things more important ...

Maybe ive said smth wrong and im sorry ( topic date is 2-3 months ago) .

Have "The Reckoning"? I remember there was a track or two on that CD that were pretty badass, me and some buddies used to rawk out to that while playing Motorcross Madness (2?) Big grin In general the Q2 soundtrack was the effing win, unique at it's time.

OMG, yes, "The Reckoning" and "Ground Zero"! Some of the tracks were copied from the original QII soundtrack but the ones that were replaced were like high-octane variants on the same style. I thought I was the only person who remembered that shit! Big grin

Trent's work on the first Quake was groundbreaking not only for video game music but for electronic music in general - although he didn't do anything new, he brought back old ideas and put them to use with new equipment and in new ways, which made it all the more exciting to me.
