To avoid such situations of vacancies, it would be better to have a team of admins, where each of them could substitute other ones. I think two or three would be enough.
EPSI, can you suggest some criteria that a candidate must match?
Then we'll have elections... then Maidan... then elections again... maybe an inner war with inevitable losses... then elections again... a pure true democracy, I think you know what I mean... Just for a joke.
As I understand a candidate must be trusted, skilled, not biased and active enough. So, again... EPSI, can you suggest some criteria that a candidate must match?

V solution would be good for consideration epsi, an team of good admin's... some names come to my mind as the good candidates which are: Damian aka Kompressor Web developer and Skullhead aka cheaters catcher dude

A community is formed by it's members, and as long as you keep this negative attitude, it keeps sinking as it has been for a long while.. and unless people here start appreciate each other and appreciate how each member is part of it (part of a place we love) start respecting one another and be fair with own behaviors toward all of it's matters, it won't take another orientation..

Of course a great example of how one respects and appreciates the other is
