No specs allowed on server

Since i am still unable to post in the shoutbox here is another question Tongue

On a server i set up people can't spec during game and autojoin when they connect. Any ideas? Confused

Thinking I don't get it

I added it in the crontab but there was no difference Confused
The weird thing is, two servers, almost identical server cfgs and only one has this problem.

I know about that too, it's already set to 0 Thinking

Plus that i think g_teamautojoin forces to you play when you connect but you can spec later. Here it's impossible Confused

Perhaps you have spectator mode locked out as a "team"? (altho i don't even know if it's possible, lol) Try looking for any /lock commands in your configs, or, alternatively, set xp_matchmode to "0".

I honestly can't think of anything else that could keep players from entering spectator mode O.o Except what Mow said. Confused

hmm.... last thing to try is set g_maxteamclients to "0". It could keep the players from entering spectator mode until all team slots are filled.

One tdm server, one freeze server. The freeze server has this problem, the tdm server doesn't have this problem. Oldvamp suggested to copy the tdm cfg to the freeze cfg only changing gametype to see what's going to happen. Same problem. I did what mad suggested (maxteamclients) and it was fixed.
