Need help fixing game files? (+ unban on Beer)

I haven't played a single match of E+ in about 4 to 5 years now, decided to check it out as I found all the old files on an old hard drive of mine. I was able to play like a week ago on a random rail only server, but when I was in the Beer Freezer server I got banned after about 10 minutes for ''suspected cheating''.
I assume it's because of my gamefiles being different, because it sure as hell wasn't because of my skills as I am plain horrible.
Any help would be appreciated and sorry if this is the wrong sub forum.

Can be this or a mouse lag, usually got those messages for these reasons. Since you found it on an "old drive" and didn't play jack for years I suggest you start by downloading a pure clean version of the game then try again, maybe the dirt of your drive started to soil your files making them unpure

I reinstalled the latest version of E+ and it seems to be working now. I already downloaded it so it's a bit odd, but hey, it works now. I was even on top of my team a match so I'm already more than happy about that. Even though my movement is so poor now, I guess I just have to play more to get better again.
