*Nastyhotshots* Hottub E+ server

Hi everyone
I am new to this community but not new to quake, obsesive quake fan since Q1, dread to think how long ago that was 
I am a member of the Nasty Clan and work on server admin. One of our 1.30 instaunlagged rail servers has changed over to excessiveplus 2.1 Its running oldschool iu1.2beta rail FFA. I have managed to get a map rotation up and running. I am keeping 2 bots on the server basically to help those who need practice and thats the way we have always had the servers working. Apart from that I am open to suggestions on settings and gametypes. I hope you all will try it out and feed back to me if you have any ideas.

hey welcome to e+, look forward to owning your ass at some point
hope you can bring some new variety to e+, will def check your server out when i get my chores done (thanks to the wife for the list 
)
hardlovely should be able to give you advice on cfg settings etc. he has a level head.
just play as many servers as you can, take what you think is the best points from each to make your own cfg exactly as you like it, you will never get bored with tweaking as e+ is superbly customisable.

glad there is a few players out there willing to take the time to help. What I need is for players to check the server out and see if there is any issues with settings. I am good at general insta admin but are new to the way things are layed out in this mod. What is good about this is that I, and the rest of the Natsy clan, can interact with the whole quake community. It matters not what mod ypou play what matters is the fact that you can have great fun playing quake and its a game which brings communities and clans together. Make friends, thats what I say.
So if you can check the server out for me and comment on the settings or a need to change to someting else, more positive to the general population. What we need is a good usable server, by all. Thank you for your time

I see your server is located in: United States, New Jersey, Sayreville (http://www.excessiveplus.net/spider/nastyhotshots-hottub-1-32-e-ffa), european players might have 100+ ping there, that could be the one of the reasons for emptiness, besides that people here obviously have hard time adjusting to new stuff (cfgs, maps in rotation, servers...)
I don't know if you're familiar with the situation here, but most popular server running e+ is: http://www.excessiveplus.net/spider/beer-freezer
it often happens that it's full, and it seems no one wants to offer people some beer freezer alternative - a server running "official e+" plusN.cfg and FTAG gametype (on which majority of cw's are played)
other popular server would be ERA-DM17-ELITEZ (http://www.excessiveplus.net/spider/era-dm17-elitez) running a FFA gametype - railonly cfg, but it's rarely full so that you couldn't connect (cause it has 20 slots), and I see no purpose of having another FFA server running at this time
if you enjoy playing your current server cfg/gametype more than plusN it's cool, anyway as I said earlier people here have hard time adjusting to new stuff, so having plusN.cfg on your server would be no guarantee for it being full/popular
