i did start q3 with singleplayer.bat, /map q3dm17 /gametype 3, /addbot xaero

than played a while, just stood arround and did shot at bot, than load q3dm7 and same there.

yes, this config doesnt have anti camp protection for some 3 or 4 major revisions.

simply not needed. you wait in one spot, you get butchered by someone who was controling the map.

yea, but just if the aim fits Winking

i also recognized, that the bfg does not always kill (but mostly) by a direct bfg hit.

made some airshots at the bot on dm17.

btw. on freeze a camper could easily hide to denie the last score without making any noise (because of not beeing forced to move from time to time).

Example: 11:11 on dm7 (there are few spaces to hide and 30 secs must not be enough to find the last enemy)

sidenote: i played the config just on 2 maps on local host, dunno how it works on a war or something. but the config is definitly good for a war.

That camping style was tried a lot on that fragfest on lemon server.

didnt work once, simply cause the other team grownes so much stronger that in the next rounds they were scoring several in a row.

Some e+ bug, health doesn't reset so you remain with all you mega pickups.

No weapon in this cfg is isnta kill, except gauntlet Happy

BFG is the weakest direct hit weapon of all the missile ones (not counting plasma which is only for moving).

My official request to have the battlesuit replaced with either a red armor or even quad. It makes you almost invincible. Shock

It is actually a 50% damage reduction.

I will probably tweak it down for 1v1.

  • v6.4.2008-07-24 Decreased: Quad respawn is now 90 sec. Suit is only 25% in 1vs1. Maximum armor is 200. 1vs1 armor pickup values have been decreased 20%.
    Increased: Suit and Regen respawn is now 180 sec.
    Remowed: Shotgun.
    Added support for cpm14 (m0ve_map 200)

  • v6.3.2008-05-15 Another internal test, been running on those servers for a few months now. Retweak of the armor system and shotgun remowed.

  • v6.2.2008-04-20 Internal test, it was only placed on Trances m0ve servers, Dissos 1vs1 and Digits Digital Dreams servers. It featured new armor system (details in v6.4.).
