I agree there,in quake crt is still king.since Im gonna stick to thos game for some more time Im gonna wait a bit more with buying,they announced 100Hz LCD's,there are no such monitors yet but there are tv's.And maybe in the meanwhile there will be a even faster matrix then 2ms...

I have a 12 inch CRT in my basement, a couple of scratches accross the screen, come pick it p any time.
Oh and you can take my Pentium pro and pentium II aswell...

even i got some 17 inch laying around here (but just one would be avaible and it got crappy quality)
i guess u should try ebay reno, there is always a way to find such thing.

sure i have checked ebay man, but i cant find any of those models recommended, also they never say what refresh rates they support (like its a big secret)

but everything depends on monitors condition, the most important is condition of screen, tube, anti reflective surface.
btw. in site about hp is mistake cuz they base on trinitron tube not like is specification diamotron. If U want more info hit me on msn.

I was looking around the PC superstores on the weekend, and I was asking about the refresh rates of LCD monitors etc, and not 1 person in the store knew what I was talking about lol....
My question is, It is a good idea to buy a TV that can be used as a monitor instead of a crt monitor? Also, what kind of refresh rates do these TV's have ? My friend seems to think that they are generally 100hz which sounds quite good. Plus i can watch the football when im not playing Q3
