Laggy Demos

From yesterday, after i have been recording demos
they have been very laggy

and they are normally a lot bigger in size
its not laggy, until you play it back
im not sure if this is just my quake client, or what
i'm really not sure
earlier i just got a ctf1 cap time 3.332 or something
and if you watch it, it looks like i am uploading a file to the internet (or something similar)
can anybody help?

try sv_fps 125 for local server
