i will say it's addictive when i pass going out to play quake 
that never happened yet so i guess yeah it is addictive but not to a worrying point

leaving q3 is not bad for aim , at begin when u will restart it you will play shitty, just 1 little week is needed or less to recover gameplay etc...
and yes its fucking addictive, i personaly deleted the game which was my 1st hobby , now i hope ill spedn less time on computer coz its not good for brain

I play home and on work. Use two diferent mouses, that is worstes for aiming... On work with nosound... So I am nOOb anyway. No that is not bother me at all, because I play for fun... I never play with 100% of concetration, speed, rush, adrenaline... etc... And do not take game so seriously... if so, then I will never enjoy game... I am big kid and like games... when game become surrogate of real life, that sux ! So, people enjoy life, game, smile, be happy, be a kid... we have only one life... And just for the record, I am very fast if I wanna to, but playing on that way dry my energy out, that is no fun at all...

I have this problem too, Quake sucks my time away...I spend realy much time on playing Quake...it's highly addictive and highly intense game....It's not as addictive as World of Warcraft though (never played it...but i heard one boy died because he played a couple of days WoW without eating anything 
) i hope i have enough guts to stop playing Quake for at least a month, who can tell me how can i do it not in one step, but slowly...step by step...Warner, we are addicted!!!

I know a good way to stop playing Quake so much, people!!!!!! WE SHOULD DO IT TOGATHER!!!! WE CAN STOP IT BEGINNING WITH SOME DAY...AND THEN ONLY PLAY WHEN OTHERS IN THE STOP_QUAKE_TEAM ARE PLAYING.
