ok, i think every admin knows ICE*COLD.
I banned him like 10 time (rcon ban). He keeps on loggin without any
difficulties, with the same IP, same nik? He has no guid (natuerlich).
Name { "éãå*ãïìä" }; IP { 82.74.5.101 }.

How come he keeps on comming with same id :
Is there any other way than PB to get rid of that loser?
And i dont think that a submask ban would help either.
Look at the ban.txt file joined. i've rcon-banned him more than 15 time in a minute.

Ok now have a look at the attachement file. Its a game.log.
Anybody saw that before? Same IP, bunch of differents GUIDs, all in same time. And the server crashed....

This is a well known cheater, SonBitch from France. I had him banned for cheats, disrespect and very bad language. Now he want revenge. His original ban was:

Name { "Son Bitch" { Reason: "get lost, cheat-tard" } }
IP { 82.124.48.120 { Reason: "get lost, cheat-tard" } }
Guid { 7EB573022508EC209CD06AE83BC131F8 { Reason: "get lost, cheat-tard" } }

He came with different IP (same sub-mask) as you can see on game.log.
And maybe you can read as me: Dont insult people in message if you ban someone... a kinda hidden message lmao

Any1 knows how he did that?

make a test ban with urself, if u can still join, ur bans.txt is fucked up

maybe a missed } or whatever, from writing in bans manualy.

had all check. Those are all rcon-ban... but still i checked bant.txt, the syntax was all right. I've try to ban my-self, both manually and then thru rcon, it worked fine.

mmmh, on the first look I can not recognise anything wrong in your bans.txt.
However, I have hardly the time at the moment to watch position for position
through ur bans.txt, I will have a more precise look to the file tomorrow.

Btw. his IP is a fix IP, you attempted, to ban him once in the old-fashioned
way?

Example:
/rcon addip 82.74.5.101

If that not works with a fix IP than i don't know any other solution.

Maybe Nihil has a logical answer?

Btw, what makes that command: /rcon <pass> addip <***.***.***.***> ?
I've tried it, but i can't see any trace of it in log files....

As you can see, i'm not only admin who have recurrent problem with ICE*COLD. I found he was also banned more than 1 time on God's servers, and he had guidance too (same both times):

u can see the ip ban in the q3config of server.
