How is you'r life..?
Well everybody in e+ knows addict grows wery strong on this game ...when u frag good play nice , take good victorys from games .. you feel super exellent as real life. That makes life a bit difficult when comes days nothing works in e+ rail acc , moves , kill per death ...etc that makes me angry to my self and get anrgy to my die wife allso about having bad game days.. i call this is seriosly big - in my life. I play most on addict, so i call its wery stupid and unwise. My personal life suffers im here at playing Q3 some weeks 5 hours in a day... so it takes 35 hours in a week... that is fucking 2 much . I have tried to stop Q3 but even i delete my cfg:s anf unistall the game ... it comes back to my computer in a 1-2 month ... and im here a gain ....i have write topic about leaving Q3 forever .. but i failed .. the main reason is i have playt q3 8 years at in the bequining so that makes leaving a bit difficult .. and i have here allso nice frends. I realy want to stop this and start mayby game which wont get that high addict. So i want to say im Leaving in Q3 but i dont know can i make it... noneone cant help me i need to do it my self, but im mayby 2 weak ... my longest brake was 5 months ...and there was still anddict on my back... strange isnt it ??? . after 5 month... everything was a gain normal ... as q3 installed whith e+ and fragging as hell.... I can tell you ppl we get another child in jany 20.1 08 and after that i wont show up in e+ ... i trow my 3 Q3 cd:s to wall and banis my cd-keys form my life. So i might me a Better dad to my sweet daughter and my beatifull wife ... whith new baby ... best reg .. t: Diesell :oops:

Well Diesel, I understand You correctly! And I think, olso My time in this World(q3,net-line)going slowly to the-end...Reason:Anger, sadness, minimum life in reall, etc...nvm! @Diesel & Jak: I understand you both, really. But why so radical approach ? Diesel, I have wife and two kids 
But, I can balance life and E+ easy. People must be addictive on something, it is better be addictive to game then for example alcohol , drugs, food... You just have to say before playing how much maps you will play and do it exactly... I play ususally about 3, max 4 maps and that it is... Sure, sometimes play more, but very rarely. Try to make compromise between life and gaming.

How is you'r life..?
I think we must ask our self why we play.Is it still fun to play if we not is on the top of rank?
To be on top
you have to play many hours a day and almost every day. Then the family and your life suffer.
To be a average player
then we can play now and then but still beat many.We live our life as we all should do with family and friends.
I rember when I didn't play and my man had a clan in UT .All day and night i saw him with the computer swearing
and was always mad. His gaming made us suffer he was not nice to us because always tired and thinking of the
clan and tired of cheaters and many other things .Me and our daughters was always quiet to not disturb him.
It ended up with, I and daughters moved to our own place and he was alone gaming in his home.
He stoped play day and night and started to be the same old again , so after 2 years we moved back to him.
Now daughters have theire own life with friends and boys and me and my man live a bit boring life, I play q3 he play
Battlefiled 2 both in clans.We play often but if me or him want to do something els we stop play and do.
So people you can play and have a life but maybe not be on the top
Family and friends first and if nothing to do or girl/boyfriend is with friends then play.

For me it have never been aboute playing and become good anymore. I feel it sometimes that i enjoy being in the arean because there is alot of nice people i can mess arround with.. you know. Have a great time without take the seriusness of the game too far. Its fun to play and meet people you allready know and have a fun time with them. Joking. screaming, laugh with and at.

I have no idea how to put it.. but the nearest is that gaming with other people for a long time you soon become like a family. I know it sounds too emotional but wth.. isnt it like that sometimes?
I have still hard to just leave quake and spend more time with irl friends. Tbh i have more seriouse conversation through the net than with people i daily meet. Thats spooky.. Oo

Hmm im kind some circle addict to q3 it qoes like ball ...one month you play 5 houts day another mayby 3 .... but still the addict is same ... and i realy dont want move or her to move cos im so idoit ...so i have to take limits on my gaming .... we have tried everything ... days playing ...3 days in a week about 6 hours in a week .. kind of that ... but they newer worked .. i slept them pretty fast ...and soon back to normal ...5 hours ...I need to ask my self do i realy want get off .. or em i still on super addict ...! some day i can stop it some not ... wery noiry thing . For longer seeng i might start to play other game ... etc ... that makes more troubles to me... so i dont know em i frak or something soon or later......howrever i need to try...i make question for you all e+ hard players what u think if u play same game 8 years ... ?? :roll:

I play so far exclusively only "ID Software" games. They are best. So, ask you question why people play Football 150 years, chess and cards... Because its damn good games. I try to play a lot games, but I don't find so much interests in them...

i like quake an theres nothing wrong with playing the game.
but things in real life are more important to me than this game.
for example friends asked me to go fishing with them for the weekend.
ill go fishing instead of playing q3.
When i come onto the internet most of my time is spent talkin to clan mates an gernral stuff to do with the clan.
Seems to me the longer i stay away for quake an come back to play a game, i play awsome!
i think its coz i havnt been playing for a while an i cant stop thinking about the game.
but when i play 5-6 maps i just get tired an bored an stop trying most of the time.
