Help with 1.04 beta5 install

One of my hk mates is having a problem installing beta 5. it keeps saying that he needs to install beta5 in order to play on the server.

Weird thing is that we even load the mod from quake
use /connect ip and keeps doing it.

we already tried a fresh quake install and doesnt work either.

i had the shyt problem too.. i copied the pkz to baseQ didnt work.. soo i removed them.. connected again.. and agreed to let aoutdownload work it out.. so i took a shit meanwhile and later when i came back i reconnect and it worked..

You know when its psyen (:

Help with 1.04 beta5 install

i had this with edawn and my problem was the most simple (and embarrassing) problem u can think of. i dled the rar (or was it a zip?) and pressed "extract to" and copied that folder into q3 folder, so i "doublefoldered" the content and it didnt work Big grin
its totally dumb but it can happen if u dont pay attention (i never pay attention)
and the best is, the solution is very simple Happy
