Funny thing, I tried BF3 for the first time yesterday and thought of you. Is the FPS hit massive when comparing singleplayer to multi? Only got a chance to try it on singleplayer on a rig similar to mine.

didn't get your question exactly, but mp is pretty different from SP if u dont play in teamspeak with a squad.

tdm and closequarters is pretty easy for beginners and the m16a3 u have already is the best assault riffle in the game Winking all my ppm comes from TDM and Close Quarters. I wouldnt come over 450 - 650 ppm with conquest and rush only.

Once u have a feeling for the weapons u can try conquest or rush (objective gameplay), try to team up as much as you can in conquest and rush. Once you have a feeling for the overall gameplay u can also rambo a littlebit.

Thanks, although I was mostly interested in if the FPS (frames per second) suffer much more with, say, 64 players and a large map than it does in the singleplayer campaign.

oh well, i play generally on low-normal and get constantly more than 90 fps on this specs:

I could also play easily on full graphics arround 60 fps or a litbit more, but i feel annoyed by all this effects and particels in the air Happy

I never recognized fps drops according to the ammount of players.
