So how is the game? (I didn't really enjoy the last two installements).

I think GTA V installation process when will be released finally for PC will not be such pain in the ass as previous IV, because now when you install gta 4 on pc it updates 3 or 4 times in the game, uninstall social club and thats it, you can play after several minutes, no long hours of updating anymore, at least that was for me ^^

Re: GTA V

As I promised here is what I think about what I've seen :

-Graphics : I think we just pushed the PS3 to its limits. The weather design is incredible, played it only for few hours and saw like 20 different skies, distance displaying is wow too, you can see so far away with that little foggy effect I found really realistic. Little plus for the car's body reflection and sea, my eyes got stuck several times on it and I was often wondering if I wasn't watching a movie *,* ! But no, it's not perfect Happy ! Some parts of the game are still cheap-designed, some game objects were made by three years old with felt-tips, some are being displayed like if they were cell shaded and the inner design of shops you can't go in which is like a flat picture stuck on the wall makes me sick. Well in a short no major graphic improvements on what I didn't talk about, I'm still seeing a big recycled side of GTA IV here.

-Sound : Played it on a huge screen with a home cinema and was baked like hell, so can't be that objective... But well here's my impression : I loved it.
*Music : Radios are well-filled, you can found whatever you like : funk, reggae, old school and new school hip hop, old school rock&roll, hispanic music and that's just a non exhaustive list. You also now have (dunno if it was the case on the fourth one) specialized music for missions, making the game real more intense.
*Sound effects : Gotta be honest, that's the biggest plus of the sound improvement. Distant accelerating sport bikes humming like in real life, air aspiration banging whenever you cross another car, motor sounds sounding real great, explosion making a great boom too. And as always, it's some rockstar shit, speeches are well lip-synced to the guys faces making it real fresh. Don't see no negative points in there.

-Gameplay : Oh boy, this is amazing to see how they recycled the ol' Red Dead Redemption fighting system. Gun switching is way much easier and aiming too (the big plus to me). Missions are quite cool and they take you to a game tour so that's a great way to discover new content quickly. Driving is taken in hand after few minutes of playing. But the biggest change is about switching between players, I loved it too, makes the game way more entertaining too. Try it yourself, gameplay is a pure matter of tastes so I can't tell much more...Oh and to those who played it... Why the fuck are you falling so easily whenever you jump Big grin ? Laughed so hard about this !

-Story line : The San Andreas mood is back and it's pure awesomeness ! Otherwise it's all about playing the several characters. Their roads cross themselves and they move on together even if they're completely different, with different issues and aspirations. Well you know the kind of filthy story lines Rockstar likes to chuck out, no need to blabla about it for ages plus I didn't see much of it playing a bunch of hours.

-Content : Well I know it's usually included in gameplay but I had to make a part of it because this is what they improved the most to me. The map is absolutely lovely, with every kind of American typical landscape : beaches with bikeways and palm trees like Miami, cactus and sand like Nevada, rednecks typical country, vinewood sign (hollywood), wealthy estates, creepy suburbs etc...
Guns are customisable, you have fuel to play with, several kind of nades and several kind of kevlars, in a short : get ready for the very next slaughter.
Oh and it's also the very first time we get to see and interact with animals in GTA !
You also get a ton of different vehicles (also customisable AS FUCK) with new stuff but I won't spoil that because you have to be surprised to enjoy it fully, just know that you won't lack nothing to drive with Winking ! Would have loved to see the multi mode but it's not out yet as you pointed out zoomy. Sad

Ok, I'm gonna stop here cause that's huge, sorry about the enligh mistakes, must be horrible to read Sigh !

Re: GTA V

What I liked in GTA IV was this whole new vehicles handling and realism, vehicle damage and so on, what I just see over Youtube now on GTA V is back to the old and crappy handling of GTA San Andreas, all what I've just seen look like SA, bicycles, planes, mountains, parahute, mini missions like 'bicycle race' and so on, I like the ocean water and that you can dive under the water, I just have hope that in PC version vehicles handling will not be so bad as it is now on the console version, maybe its only made specially for console users, but I think I may be wrong and they just changed it to be easy due to the size of the whole world, to explore it easier and faster, well for me sux, seeing this ultra fast vehicles, turing at 90 degree without any crash, just like stick with a glue Happy

This is hell of a fun video, take a look, its long, btw in 19 minute Big grin
