Who even bothers reading the spam threads?

Except spammers themselves...

On another forum i'm registered, they have added this "bot" technique.
Instead of getting hundreds of what you refer to as "spam" posts like gg, they have this button that adds a in their case "thank you".
[new topic] [post reply] [add thank you]

So everyone who has nothing else to say but that, hits that button and at the end/bottem of that topic you see a list of all the people who submitted their thanks. So the topic doesn't get filled with all the people only saying gg, but it only gets filled with the bigger posts, really stating something worth reading.
If you'd implement such a thing on this forum it would be the same only a "good game" or something similar.

where is the problem? it doesn matter how much posts a person has oO in a lot of forums you become a new avatar then, but here not so... XD

and i think this topic is spam, too

i often write GG but i do it because im at work and i have nothing to do, or if i REALLY think its a GG!

I didn't quite catch the last sentence, but anyway, the problem is, some people seem to think that flooding the boards with "GG" is fun. It's not, it's fucking annoying. I dunno about everyone else, but when i read a post, i like to actually read something meaningful, not a two letter pat on the back pulled out of The Great Enigma's ass. Pshaw.
