Im playing on celeron 850 @1050mhz, 192MB ram, and geforce 2.
On 1024 x 768 low I have 60-80fps. I think U should use TweakXP (nice program to optimalozation UR pc), and overclock pc(It isn't sth difficult or dangerous to pc [ofc if u want how to do this]. If U want message me, maby U want to try my cfg?

1000 things can cause loss of frame rate. priority of application can be one thing, got msn running in background? maybe your mouse drivers are causing problems, maybe you just got lag.. using norton antivirus? list is endless.. tweak all -
if nothing works try slapping the side of your tower when your frame rate takes a shit this might not work but it releases tension..

msn = another program using cpu speed.
disable it.
make sure u have ur usb clock at 125 hz.
mouse drivers also take cpu speed, also some are doing things with mouse, using even more speed, but i dont get why some people simply dont play without mouse drivers. ran pretty fine for me on my mices.
