things you have to do in london as a tourist:

london eye check
tower of london/tower bridge to do
greenwich for the east/west line to do
trafalgar sq/national gallery check
houses of parliment/st stevens tower (with big ben inside) check
'visit' soho check
picaddilly circus (through chinatown) leicester sq and straight into haagen dazs Tongue check shit, I forgot about the ice cream Winking
crapingham palace... sorry i mean buckingham to see the shaving of the guards... i mean horses... i mean changing* to do
lake serpentine in hyde park to do is this really worse the visit?

Things I visited as well last weekend:
Telecom Tower (Since that's my employer)
Oxford Street for some new clothes...even if the girls are coming soon, means many more hours to spend there
Luckily the weather was pretty nice last weekend. Since yesterday it's bloddy cold here...and always draughty!

Hardcore sightseeming in combination with some nice shopping and partying, that's how it works for me. Too bad that I don't know some more people in the UK.

Btw, I consider myself very lucky to be still alive. This weird rules on the road are so dangerous, at least they were at the first days. Sometimes I'm still thinking: "Wtf, don't let this child/dog drive this car!" Seconds later I'm aware of the fact that I'm not at home...where things are going the "normal way" Tongue I'm still thinking about if I should remove this islands stopper when leaving, like my friends told me to do. Would make germany to the motherland of football then, I guess. Haha

..and more. Ah, I nearly forgot. We need a camera for this meeting. I'm just with my mobile phone here and photos in the evening or night are mostly crap. Who's job is it?

Hehe... my aunt lived in germany for 19 years... and she went through a similar road experience the 1st time she came here... remember to look right (the "look right" thing had me puzzled for about a minute, visualising different car rides I've had for the past few months, before I came up with a conclusion Tongue)

I'd say Hyde park is worth the visit, but greenwich park might not...

Hyde park is a more historical location that is also a park, while Greenwich park is just a giant park with a clock and a Maritime (sailing)Museum, and a university that's ranked in the top 80-100 top universities in England (and thats not a praise Tongue, even tho a lot of ma friends go there)

Glad you're having fun Tongue - I wanna go home 2 London Sad (got 2 wait for 2 weeks tho...)

oh yeah... as a tourist attraction, Hyde park on your own will suck... I was flying in my own world.... as someone who showed friends/relatives central London Town as a tourist location, i should have thought better, but still Hyde park is a really good place to chill... Dont buy the ice-cream from those stands or trolleys: its ridicously overpriced Tongue

Dont buy the ice-cream from those stands or trolleys:

on that note, dont buy hotdogs from the trolley men whilst strolling drunk through central london. Im pretty sure they are made from rat/pigeon meat, and you will definately regret it in the morning, kinda like waking up next to someone and wishing you hadnt slept with them
