noob question(Drunk i guess?

If i were to set up dual monitors will i be forced to play on both screens combined?

(If so how would i configure it so i dont have to?)

no, q3 will be displayed on master screen, second one will have brighter desktop

but on dual monitor setup you have crosshair between both monitors. so its useles. You need 3 monitors Happy

Dual Monitors with q3?

Before, I have played on 2nd monitor, and I have set it as master monitor, that was cool (I had 15" laptop screen + 20" independant screen).

But now that I have another monitor (HDTV screen 32" 1360x768) dunno if it is better to use 17" laptop screen (1440x900) or the TV ? I need advice Tongue.

Note : I can set the TV to 1920i but the fps drops cos it uses more pc resources.

Wanna avoid seeying mow, skull & co Surprise

In general it is better to use monitor PC. As he allows to do more thin videos of adjustment. Besides now began to appear LED monitors. At them it is better than colour in games. Take such.

if you have Nvidia as myself and you have 2 monitors you can run the Dual Monitors Wizard from the Nvidia Control Panel .. you click Next then "Custom" and then "Span".

Dont worry about the Windows resolution like 2400x ... or what is happening if you maximaze now a normal window Big grin

After doing this you can start Q3 and it will be Spaned on both Monitors (not streched but spanned)

however you cant make the fov be more resonable becauase of the cg_Fov limits so my pics were done at 150 fov .. lower then that is not an option .. something like 180 should have been better like an 110 for 1 moni.
